We are excited to offer over 800 classes!

 

In a wide array of sections including fruit, vegetables, home preserving, wine and beer, eggs and honey, home baking, flowers and potted plants, arts and crafts, needlework, poultry and livestock, photography, students, woodwork and metalcraft, grain and forage, wildcrafting and Lego.

Join us for our 2026

livestock show 

We are pleased to offer a livestock show at this years fall fair! 

Classes include: Chore Horse, Log Skid, Driving Horse and Livestock Beauty Pageant. 

Each entrant will need to submit a signed waiver

Contests

Scarecrow Contest

 

Entry Fee: $5

Prize: $25 for Best Scarecrow 

 

  • Open to everyone, including community groups.

  • Entrants must make a free-standing scarecrow approximately 5' tall. 

  • Scarecrows must be delivered to the Fairgrounds on Thursday, September 10, 2026 between 6 and 8pm.

  • Scarecrows will be displayed at the Fairgrounds.

  • Submit Entry and Fee either online (link below) or on the paper entry form (link above).

  • You must pick up your Scarecrow on Sunday, September 13, 8am-10am

Giant Pumpkin Contest

Entry Fee: $5 Prize

Special Prize 

 

  • Open to everyone, including community groups.

  • Competitors must grow a giant pumpkin which will be judged by weight.

  • Pumpkin must be delivered on a pallet to the Fairgrounds on Thursday, September 10, 2026 between 6 and 8pm.

  • Pumpkins will be displayed at the Fairgrounds. 

  • Submit entry and fee using the Online Entry (link below) or the paper Fall Fair Official Entry Form.

  • Please pick up your Pumpkin on Sunday September 13, 8am-10am

Storefront Window Display Contest

Entry Fee: Free

Prize: Special Ribbon and Recognition

 

  • Open to open to all Creston businesses.

  • Displays must be of a good, clean, wholesome nature and fitting with the atmosphere of the fair, and our theme of "Rhinestone Cowboy". 

  • Displays must be in place by August 17, 2026 and must stay in place through the Fall Fair dates.

  • Enter online.

Judging Criteria: Colourful, unique and follows the

Fair's theme. of Saddle up & Sparkle
