We are pleased to offer a livestock show at this years fall fair! 

​Classes include: Chore Horse, Breed Parade, Log Skid, Kids Gymkhana, Driving Horse and Livestock Beauty Pageant 

Each entrant will need to submit a signed waiver

Contests

Scarecrow Contest

 

Entry Fee: $5

Prize: $25 for Best Scarecrow 

 

  • This contest is open to everyone, including community groups.

  • Entrants must make a free-standing scarecrow approximately 5' tall. 

  • Scarecrows must be delivered to the Fairgrounds on Thursday, September 4, 2025 between 6 and 9pm.

  • Scarecrows will be displayed throughout the Fairgrounds.

  • Submit Entry and Fee using the Fall Fair Official entry.

  • Please pick up your Scarecrow on Saturday evening prior to 5pm.

Giant Pumpkin Contest

Entry Fee: $5 Prize

Special Prize 

 

  • This contest is open to everyone, including community groups.

  • Competitors must grow a giant pumpkin which will be judged by weight.

  • Pumpkin must be delivered on a pallet to the Fairgrounds on Thursday, September 4 between 6 and 9pm.

  • Pumpkins will be displayed at the Fairgrounds. 

  • Submit entry and fee using the Fall Fair Official entry.

  • Please pick up your Pumpkin on Saturday evening prior to 5pm.

Creston Valley Roadside Display

 

Entry Fee: Free

Prize: Special Ribbon and Recognition

 

  • Creative displays must be highly visible from the road and include a legible sign with "Creston Valley Fall Fair" and the Fair dates "September 5 and 6, 2025".

  • Displays must be of a good, clean, wholesome nature and fitting with the atmosphere of the fair, and our theme of "Canadian Tuxedo".

  • Displays must be in place by August 14, 2025 and must stay in place through the Fall Fair dates. 

  • Display addresses will be included on a public Driving Tour map promoting the Fair. 

  • Enter online.

Judging Criteria: Colourful, unique and follows the

Fair's theme.

Business Window Decorating

​

Entry Fee: Free

Prize: Special Ribbon and Recognition

 

  • This contest is open to all Creston businesses.

  • Displays must be of a good, clean, wholesome nature and fitting with the atmosphere of the fair, and our theme of "Canadian Tuxedo". 

  • Displays must be in place by August 14, 2025 and must stay in place through the Fall Fair dates.

  • Enter online.
